Storm Damage
What the work involves.
North Texas sits in one of the most hail-prone corridors in the country, and Dallas County takes large storms most springs. Hail season runs roughly from March into June, but a strong summer thunderstorm can bring straight-line winds that lift and tear shingles in any month. The damage is rarely even. One street can come through untouched while the next loses shingles, gutters and screens.
Hail damage is easy to miss from the ground. A hailstone knocks granules off an asphalt shingle and bruises the mat underneath, and the roof can look fine for a year. The bruised spot keeps shedding granules, the asphalt dries out, and the leak appears long after anyone links it to a storm. Wind damage shows differently: creased shingles, broken seal strips, and tabs that flap loose until they tear away.
How It Works
Free nine-point inspection
Valleys, ridge, shingles, chimney, ventilation, gutters, drip edge and flashing, with drone photos sent to you.
Property protected
Tarps over pools and bushes, and cover for windows, garage doors and AC units before the tear-off.
Down to the decking
Old shingles and underlayment come off, the decking is inspected, and bad boards are replaced.
Rebuilt and cleaned up
Drip edge, ice and water membrane, synthetic underlayment, GAF Timberline HDZ and Z-Ridge, ventilation corrected, and a roller magnet over the yard.
The Difference
What to know before you decide.
A storm inspection covers the whole roof. We walk the slopes and fly a drone to photograph what the storm did, including the soft metals such as vents, turbines, gutters and downspouts that show hail size clearly. You get the photos and a plain explanation of what they show, which is the same evidence an insurance adjuster needs to see.
When a storm has opened the roof, the first job is to stop the water. Our emergency roofing and tarping service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, so a roof torn open at night can be tarped and dried in before the next band of rain comes through.
Restoration is the rest of it. Depending on what the inspection shows, that is a repair or a full replacement, torn off to the decking and rebuilt with new drip edge, ice and water membrane, synthetic underlayment and GAF Timberline HDZ shingles. Storms do not stop at the roof, so damaged gutters, siding and windows can be handled as part of the same job.
We work with all insurance companies and help homeowners through the claim, from the inspection photos to the finished roof. The claim page explains how that side of it works. Not every storm leaves damage worth a claim, and the inspection is also how you find that out before filing one.

Storm Damage, answered.
How do I know if hail damaged my roof?
Dented gutters, vents and downspouts, granules collecting at the bottom of downspouts, and neighbors getting roofs replaced are all signs. The shingle damage itself is hard to see from the ground, so a free inspection with drone photos is the way to be sure.
How soon after a storm should I get the roof inspected?
As soon as you can. Many Texas policies require a claim within a year of the storm, and hidden damage keeps getting worse in the meantime. Check your policy for the exact deadline.
What if the storm tore a hole in my roof at night?
Call (469) 771-0988. Emergency roofing and tarping is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Should I call my insurance company or a roofer first?
Many homeowners have the roof inspected first, so they know whether there is storm damage before opening a claim. We work with all insurance companies and can help once a claim is filed.
Can you fix storm damage to gutters and siding too?
Yes. We install seamless gutters, siding and windows, so exterior storm damage can be restored along with the roof.
