Gutters
What the work involves.
Gutters are the last part of the roof system. They take the water the shingles shed and carry it away from the foundation, and in North Texas that second job matters more than most homeowners realize. Expansive clay soil swells when it is soaked and shrinks when it dries, and water dumped beside a slab foundation drives exactly the movement that cracks drywall and sticks doors.
We install seamless gutters in 4 to 6 inch sizes. Seamless gutters are formed on site from a continuous coil, so each run has no joints along its length except at corners and downspouts. Joints are where sectional gutters leak and sag, so fewer joints means fewer failures.
How It Works
Free nine-point inspection
Valleys, ridge, shingles, chimney, ventilation, gutters, drip edge and flashing, with drone photos sent to you.
Property protected
Tarps over pools and bushes, and cover for windows, garage doors and AC units before the tear-off.
Down to the decking
Old shingles and underlayment come off, the decking is inspected, and bad boards are replaced.
Rebuilt and cleaned up
Drip edge, ice and water membrane, synthetic underlayment, GAF Timberline HDZ and Z-Ridge, ventilation corrected, and a roller magnet over the yard.
The Difference
What to know before you decide.
Size depends on the roof. A larger roof or a steep one sends more water to the eaves, and a heavy Texas downpour can overwhelm a 5 inch gutter on a big slope. A 6 inch gutter carries noticeably more water, and larger downspouts help it drain. Measuring the roof areas that drain to each run tells you which size fits.
Hail damages gutters too, and dented gutters and downspouts are one of the clearest signs a storm hit a house. When the roof is being replaced after a storm, gutters are often part of the same scope, and replacing them at the same time avoids disturbing the new drip edge later.
Gutter work can be done on its own or alongside a roof. Either way it starts with measurements and a quote.

Gutters, answered.
What size gutters do I need?
Most homes use 5 inch gutters, and larger or steeper roofs benefit from 6 inch. We install 4 to 6 inch seamless gutters and size them to the roof.
Are seamless gutters worth it?
For most homes, yes. With no joints along each run there are fewer places to leak or pull apart.
Should I replace gutters with a new roof?
If they are damaged or undersized, doing both at once is simpler and avoids disturbing the new drip edge later.
Does insurance cover hail-damaged gutters?
Gutters are usually included in a storm damage claim when hail has dented them.
